DJPC has a long and ongoing involvement with music. Through being half of DJ Food on Ninja Tune at the height of its power, being the turntablist in Cinematic Orchestra and through ongoing DJing, choiring (is that even a term?) and being a regular part of a brass band (with a saxophone not a mixer) - music is obviously more than a temporary pleasure. We’re glad he managed to find some time between all that and an MA (yea, he’s a busy guy) to do a little mix for us for this month. We gave him carte blanche and he nailed it with some serious afro-centric influences, a bit of Onyebor and a Labour of Love sample that didn’t use Hue and Cry. Check it out.
